Nicki Minaj is looking for love after a recent breakup, but she wants a man who sees the effort she puts into remaining a top rap diva.

“I want someone to appreciate how hard I work,” Minaj told music journalist Elliott Wilson during his live interview series CRWN at Le Poisson Rouge.

She has reportedly split with longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels. The pint-sized rapper never publicly confirmed the breakup, but her new album, “The Pinkprint,” seems to detail her feelings and has been called a “badass breakup album” by critics.]

Minaj told Wilson:

‘“I lost a big part of my life, and one of the reasons was because I was a workaholic. I couldn’t focus on anyone else. Maybe they needed more attention, and I take care of my whole family. So if I’m gonna choose between working my ass off and giving you, one human being, all of my attention? You might get forgotten sometimes. Not because I don’t love you, but because I got the weight of the f - - king world on my shoulders.”’

Minaj last month released the single “Bed of Lies,” which some assumed was about Samuels.
