Breaking: Foiled Coup D'etat In Gambia To Topple Yahya Jammeh

There was an attempted coup d'etat in the West African country of Gambia but it was reportedly foiled...

Sequel to my address on 24^th December, 2014, I Sheikh SidiaBayo, Leader of the NTCG and member of the coalition “WAATO SEETA” hereby direct patriotic senior ranks, senior NCOs, soldiers all and sundry loyal to the republic of The Gambia to act and move to topple the Dictator YahyaJammeh.

In fact according to our intelligible sources from The Gambia, we are privy to information that YahyaJammeh has presently traveled out of the country and is on a state visit to France. The reason behind his presence in Paris is because of me and also to attempt to canvass Francois Hollande to support him. Once he gains this recognition coupled with a little individual support here and there, Yahya will succeed in his continual habit and style to deny us our freedom.

Men and women of GAF as well as other sister forces, you should know that France is a country that always promotes freedom, equality and brotherhood in a democratic manner. Therefore let us all firmly believe that the President of France Francois Hollande would never grant him such backing. And I Sheikh SediaBayo son of a Gambian born in France will do everything in my capacity to make sure he does not benefit a dime from France.

YahyaJammeh has turned the military into a big joke and he is not even concern about your welfare except those who are ready and willing to satisfy his whims and caprices.

HEADS UP Officers!

This is no longer a story. You are witnessing a very disturbing phase of the turn of things in YahyaJammeh’s government. Look at our freedom, gone! Our economy all gone! Even our education, our future and our development process all went static because of YahyaJammeh’sbad governance policies. He dictates terms everywhere, from the meat market to the fish, basic commodities and most businesses around town in the country. Where is our country heading to in the hands of a hoodlum like YahyaJammeh??? Yahya always promises you the skies but he never stands by them.

WaatoSeeta! Soldiers! WaatoSeeta! Wake up and open your eyes!

When a country reaches this level of destruction, you are the ranking agents to save it, deal with the situation! You have until mid-midnight tomorrow, wesnday31^stdecember 2014, to move against YahyaJammeh. Yahya cannot be trusted. There is something about YahyaJammeh that you might not be aware. Jammeh is exploitative. He is manipulative, he is full of hypocrisy; full of himself –proud, unorganized, he does not do things by the book, he is full of bad management, has nothing whatsoever in his intentions to promote the agenda of the country and above all, he is a criminal and a murderer masked in the presidency. YahyaJammeh is the worst leader this country has ever had. Why are you protecting him?

I am from henceforth putting up a reward of D1, 000, 000to each individual, each member of a group, and forces that would come to the aid of the country to capture or kill the incompatible YahyaJammeh. In fact, the opportunity has presented itself to all of us; since he is out of the country, now is the time or seemingly never. Do not allow him to return. Yahya has forgotten you! Do it soldiers! You owe this to your country!

And in your task organization, all the Military camps and theirs commanders in Kombo areas should stand together strong and carry out the following phases:

Ø Close the BANJUL international Airport to air traffic before 12 mid-night(phases 1);

Ø Take control of the STATE HOUSE and lock it down to him (phases 2);

Ø Take over the GRTS media facilities as well as GAMTEL International Gateway. Shutdown the Gateway(phases 3);

Ø Close all land border entries into the Gambia ASAP (phases 4);

And put all other military barracks, sub-military barracks, security posts and check-points as well as other units of security across the country; on a complete state of high alert. Cognizance of your glantry and bravey, and also you as our friendly forces, members of coalition “WaatooSeeta” will join you as soon as possible for all of us to begin to give our country a new lease of life and chapter during the course of the transitional period.

From Today, the main goal is to avoid the return of YayaJammehto the Gambian soil by all means possible if you are really suffering, we can organize it together, For The Gambia...

It is not anymore a dream, but an obligation and a chance to topple Jammeh from today not tomorrow!

Because if you wait until tomorrow, he may be back, and the nightmare continues again and again and again...So it must be today, not tomorrow!

Lt. General OusmanBarjie our able Chief of Defence Staff, GeneralSulaymanBadjie, Lt. Col. Musa Savage, Michael Jatta, AnsumanaTamba and all the other high ranking officers of The Gambia Armed Forces, you all can quarantine Jammeh to announce his resignation before tomorrow Wesnday 31^stDecember 2014, in order to peacefully end his Presidency, and launch an international arrest warrant against him for all his atrocities and crimes...

I promise you he will be immediately arrest from France and he shall appear before the International Criminal Court in the Hague, Holland in the next coming weeks...as all International institutions are also fed up of this Criminal and dictator.

Meanwhile, Civil society organizations, citizens of the Gambia and the people living in the Gambia rise up to claim what is rightfully yours before it is too late. Is your price of duty too to stage a popular uprising against YahyaJammeh. Therefore hit the streets in your multitude of numbers to give back to The Gambia her once lost Glory…

We are out of time and the times are too precious to waste.
