This happens mostly because no worker wants to come out and speak their mind on issues like wages and workers welfare because they are afraid of been made a scapegoat which might lead to them losing their "job."
At this junction, i must congratulate this expatriate who resigned because he couldn't take the maltreatment against Nigerian workers by Nigerian owned/based firm...
Mr. Surendra Bhagwandass resigned his appointment as a base maintenance Manager at Caverton Helicopter.
This company is reportedly known to have contract with most oil firms in Nigeria, including SHELL, TOTAL and many other but it hasn't paid it's workers last month (December 2013) salaries.
This is really bad and if these allegation are true, then i would say a BIG thank you to Mr. Surendra Bhagwandass and a more BIGGER shame to Caverton Helicopter.
What do you think about this my people?
Wicked employers
