Lagos State House of Assembly has passed a bill banning smoking in public places. According to the bill offenders will pay a fine of N10,000, three months imprisonment or both for both for even the first offender.
This particular bill has lingered since 2013 and it was sponsored by a lawmaker representing Eti-Osa Constituency 2 at the Lagos State Assembly-- Gbolahan Yishawu
