Britney Spears’ ex killed in Afghanistan

A pilot who dated Britney Spears and helped her fight drugs and alcohol reportedly was killed last week when a missile hit his helicopter in Afghanistan.

John Sundahl, 44, who met the pop star at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in 2007, had been flying dignitaries in and out of the war zone for a private company for a year, Britain’s Daily Mail said.

After splitting, they remained friends, then dated again last summer, said another British tabloid, The Mirror, which described her as “devastated.’’
