Heavy riot erupted in Singapore on Sunday 8th December, 2013... According from information the riot erupted shortly after a fatal accident at the junction of race course road and the hampshire road, popularly known as "little India."
This riot involved a crowd of about 400 people suspected to be foreign (migrant) workers... the rioters damaged 5 police vihicle and 1 ambulance. several other private vehicles were equally damaged. about 10 officers were reported injured due to the riot.
This a surprising development as Singapore has never experienced such form of violence in recent time.... Information coming in now is that the police are investigating this incident and thousands of people are been questioned.
