Nelson Mandela is Dead (1918-2013)

Africa and indeed the World has lost one of its Greatest personality "Nelson Mandela." Words can express how sad i feel at the knowledge of his death.

Mr. Mandela 95 is noted for leading South Africa's transition from White-minority rule in the 1990s, after 27 years in prison

He has been receiving intense home-based medical care for a lung infection after three months in hospital.

In a statement on South African national TV, Jacob Zuma said Mr Mandela had "departed" and was at peace... He further said that "Our nation has lost its greatest son."

World leaders have been sending their condolences; 

British Prime Minister, David Cameron said "A great light has gone out in the world." While in a press conference POTUS Obama asked people to pause and honour the fact that Nelson Mandela lived. He also said that "Like so many around the globe, i cannot fully imagine my life without the example that Nelson Mandela set." \
