The two members of a group "Pussy Riot" will breathe the air of freedom soon under an Amnesty bill. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who announced this during his annual news conference on Thursday.
He was also quoted as saying: "I feel sorry not because they went to prison, but because they committed that provocative act, which degraded women."
Pussy Riot is a Russian punk rock protest group in Moscow. The two women were arrested after staging a protest at Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Savior, which included the filming of a music video titled "Punk Prayer- Mother of God, Chase Putin Away!"
