Good News! Governor Peter Obi Gives N10million To Physically Challenged Persons

Successive government in Nigeria have neglected the plight of disabled members of the Nigerian society. This is really sad as the United Nations and various Non-governmental organizations both in Nigeria and overseas have intensified their clamour for an inclusive society, where everyone has equal opportunity irrespective of their mental or physical conditions.
It's a FACT that some of these physically challenged people are able and willing to be included into the society in order to earn their daily living and support their immediate families whilst also contributing to the states economy
Meanwhile, its very encouraging that some government agencies and organizations have thrown their support towards improvement of the standards of living of physically challenged people in our society; of particular commendation is Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State who presented a cheque of ten million Naira to the State chapter of the Association of Physically Challenged Persons.
The money the Governor said is to enable the group institute interest-free revolving micro credit scheme for its members.
According to Oodera, Governor Obi said he intends to send an Executive Bill to the State House of Assembly to provide the necessary legal framework that will protect the interest of the physically challenged persons in infrastructural development.
The Governor also stated that the bill would among other things facilitate the building of all structures that will promote safety and welfare of the physically challenged members of the state.
Kudos to Governor Peter Obi for this singular act.... We need more leaders like you
