Former CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been named the new Emir of Kano contrary to earlier reports that the late Emir's eldest son Sanusi Ado Ibrahim, had been named as the new Emir. The announcement was made this evening Sunday June 8 by The secretary to Kano State Government, Rabiu Zakariya.
PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan would not be happy with this news as PDP has earlier congratulated the late Emir's son Sanusi Ado Ibrahim, whom they thought would be announced as the new Emir.
Congrats to the new Emir.
