Tanker Driver Allegedly Killed In A Conflict Between Drivers And Police Cum Army Officer

Men of the Nigeria Police and Army are presently engaged in a face-off with Tanker drivers in Apapa over killing of one of the drivers in the area, Friday morning.

A source who sent images of the incident to DailyPost said the area is tensed at the moment.

“The man was killed this morning. The claim is that a uniformed personnel carried out the act. The deceased was shot from the back and the bullet came out at the front part of his body,” the source said.

Chris Brown To Be In Jail Until June!

This is really a bad time for international music sensation Chris Brown. According to TMZ, Chris Brown will rot behind bars until June -- at the very least -- because the singer's latest bid for freedom was just DENIED.

Brown -- who was jailed last month after getting booted from rehab -- was flown to D.C. and promptly jailed  as he awaited trial in his assault case.

The trial was supposed to start today ... but it was just postponed until June. 

Brown asked the judge in the Rihanna beating case to release him, but the judge just shut him down.

Translation: Brown will soon be flown back to L.A. -- where he'll remain in jail until June ... at the very least.  It looks like he'll be flown back to D.C. on Con air ... a trip way worse than economy.

The stakes are high ... if Brown is convicted in D.C. ... the judge in the Rihanna case could violate his probation and sentence Brown to four years in PRISON.

Helen Ukpabio Deported From United Kingdom!

The British Homeland Security has deported Mrs. Helen Ukpabio, the President and Founder of one of Nigeria's largest Pentecostal churches believed to be leading the spread of witch-hunting in the country.

A United Kingdom based human right activist and charity worker, Ms. Modupe Debbie Ariyo announced this in a one paragraph sentence via her Facebook page on Friday, April 18, 2014.

"Helen Ukpabio deported from UK...hurray!!!" Ariyo said. Ariyo, who's the Executive Director of Africa Unite Against Child Abuse (AFRUCA) in furtherance of her terse release sent as a confirmatory note of the deportation, said that the British Home Secretary, Ms Theresa May was pressured by human right activists and the UK press to act.

"Theresa May was under pressure from charities to act...the evidence was overwhelming too" she stated. Ms Ariyo called on her Nigerian counterparts and the press to borrow a leaf from their action which led to the deportation of Ms Ukpabio.

"Now, it is up to our Nigerian colleagues to learn from our example. These people can be challenged. They are ordinary human beings like you and I." Ariyo maintained.

Ukpabio, who arrived London last week for a chain of three weeks deliverance service but barely held two of her services when the press and human right activist got wind of her presence and mission to the United Kingdom and invaded her deliverance service with placards. This was followed by protests and petition to the British Home Secretary.

Ihedioha & Imo State Government in War Of Words!

War of Words has began ahead of the 2015 Gubernatorial election in Imo State. The deputy speaker of the  Federal  Republic of Nigeria and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship aspirant, Chukwuemeka Ihedioha reportedly claimed in an appeal to PDP loyalist in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State that "The process of reclaiming Imo and sacking Okorocha was fully on course and could not be altered."

His statement angered loyalist of Governor Okorocha and necessitated a reaction from Imo Sate Commissioner for Information, Chief Theodore Ekechi who lashed out at Ihedioha's claims with this quote below: 

“As for reclaiming Imo and removing Okorocha from office, he lacks the capacity to even make such wild claims as he has not yet secured his party’s governorship ticket. He is merely an aspirant and clearly lacks the credentials to unseat Okorocha.”

Enough of all these political dramas, the youths are WATCHING!

FFK, as he’s fondly called told State House correspondents after the closed door meeting that he will still continue to kick against the alleged plan by the APC to field two Muslims as presidential candidate and running mate for the 2015 general elections.

According to TMZ, the 49-year-old wrestler suffered a concussion ... and he stayed overnight for further evaluation.  He was released Monday morning.
